↗FAQ
Before we begin.
What types of interiors does SATU design in Tokyo?
We work across commercial spaces, workplaces, retail, hospitality, restaurants and homes. Brand experience, spatial planning and delivery support can be combined around the needs of an individual project.
Can we discuss a project in English or Japanese?
The website and enquiry brief are available in both languages. Tell us your preferred language and the people involved so that we can agree a practical communication and review process.
When should we appoint an interior designer?
Ideally before finalising a property or committing to a fixed opening date. Early review can reveal layout constraints, specialist input and procurement needs that affect the brief. You can also contact us with an existing site.
What determines the design and fit-out budget?
Area, existing condition, services, joinery, finishes, specialist equipment and procurement choices all affect cost. We define the scope first and discuss allowances and exclusions before developing a project-specific proposal.
